The Unite Parents’ Association
The Unite Parents’ Association is the homeschool equivalent of the PTA. We organize events and opportunities for homeschool families of the North GA Area. Each county of the Unite Network will eventually have their own chapter of the UPA. As homeschooling parents it is solely our job to make sure their lives are enriched with friends, holiday parties, and educational opportunities outside of the home. That burden can seem very overwhelming without a support network like Unite. Unite has enacted the Parents' Association to help you fill that need within your homeschooling journey. Many hands make light work! Let's come together and "UNITE" for our children and the other children in our community.
One of our first intiatives is to set up a parent skills and inventory list to better organize the Parents’ within Unite’s homeschool community. This list will allow us to efficiently organize parties and waste less resources. We believe everyone wants to help, but may not know how they can be of service yet. Please fill out the Parent Questionnaire below. This is not a commitment. It just helps us know where to begin.
Funding- The UPA's goals are to create amazing parties and educational experiences for our homeschool community. Most of the families in the community are single income families and we'd love to be able to offer these things without it being a major financial burden for the families. To keep costs low for everyone we need to fundraise. .
